This mosaic piece was inspired by meditation, and influenced by the beautiful indigo and aqua waters of the Caribbean Sea. I incorporated traditional mandala motifs, and worked them here in stained glass, vitreous glass tile, Italian millefiori, glazed ceramic tile and glass "gems" in an ombré of violet to indigo blues to aqua to lime green. Difficult colors to capture accurately in photos. The word "Peace" is deep purple. Dark navy-tinted charcoal gray grout. On WediBoard. Framed in 2" deep ornate wood frame.
